Koin Naga

Inspired by the Mendaka of West Sumba, the Koin Naga gives a stylized depiction of a curled naga having spikes radiating from the center out. Being one of the most feared mythical being, the naga is pictured as a creature that dwells in the underworlds as of the believe of many Indonesian cultures. Although feared, the Naga is told to have a connection with water therefore also respected amongst the island’s residents.
